At St John’s Childcare, we work in partnership with parents to ensure children receive the best possible start to their educational journey.
We understand that the early years’ stage is a time of rapid development and we aim to provide the right activities and play to develop skills in children.
We ensure that we create the perfect environment for children in all stages of development. We have 4 childcare classrooms ranging from 12 months to 4 years old and we have an Out of school wraparound club for children from reception – year 6 for Great Berry and Lincewood schools. We have a spacious garden area that encourages children to develop and explore.
We offer an outstanding educational programme, including our School-ready Programme, ensuring children have the best possible start to their educational journey. Our staff team are highly skilled and will ensure all children are safe, happy and develop a love of learning.

St. George’s Day
We will be celebrating St. George’s Day in the setting with different craft activities for the children.

Police officers visiting
*School Ready Classes*
The Police will be coming in to talk to the children about ‘who to trust’ and what to do if a child becomes separated from their adults. They will also allow the children to climb in and out of the police car, which sounds very exciting!

Class photo’s – All children are welcome
Please see the times for each class;
- Rabbits 10:00am
- Foxes 10:15am
- Badgers 10:30am
- Squirrels 10:45am
If your child does not attend this day, you are invited to bring them along for their class photo. Please arrive promptly.
24th
June
Stay and Play session at St. John’s
You are invited to join us at St. John’s for our summer Stay and Play session!
Please see the times for the classes;
- Rabbits and Foxes 10:30am – 11:30am
- Squirrles and Badgers 1:30pm – 2:30pm
If your child does not attend this day, you are invited to join us, however, if you have opted out of the consumables you are unable to attend. Only ONE adult per child please due to high numbers.

Parent’s Evening
All classes. 6:30pm – 8:30pm
We ask that you do not bring your children with you. If you are unable to attend, please speak to your child’s key person and they will be happy to arrange a meeting or telephone appointment on another day for you.
Please note, if you have opted oput of consumables, please arrange a time during the day to speak to your child’s key person.
