Welcome to St John's Childcare in Langdon Hills

At St John’s Childcare, we work in partnership with parents to ensure children receive the best possible start to their educational journey.

We understand that the early years’ stage is a time of rapid development and we aim to provide the right activities and play to develop skills in children.

We ensure that we create the perfect environment for children in all stages of development. We have 5 rooms ranging from 12 months to 12 years and a spacious garden encouraging children to develop and explore.

We offer an outstanding educational programme, including our School-ready Programme, ensuring children have the best possible start to their educational journey. Our staff team are highly skilled and will ensure all children are safe, happy and develop a love of learning.

Key Person Approach

Each child is assigned a key person at St John’s Childcare who is introduced to the child and parents before the child starts nursery. The key person helps ensure that every child’s learning and care is tailored to meet their individual needs. The key person provides a firm bridge between nursery and home life and supports parents in guiding their child’s development at home as well as helping families engage with more specialist support if necessary.

If your child does not attend this day, you are invited to come along, however, we do ask you to stay with your child. Only ONE adult per child please due to high numbers. Thank you.

Parents Evening 

6:30pm – 8:00pm ALL CLASSES

We ask that you do not bring your children with you. If you are unable to attend, please speak to your child’s key person and they will be happy to arrange a meeting or telephone appointment on another day for you.

School Ready Leavers PARTY!

1:00pm – 2:30pm All Badgers and Squirrels children welcome. £8.50 if your child does not usually attend this time. Book at childcare office please.
